EngHack is a termly hackathon held at the University of Waterloo. Students of all levels of experience are welcome!
The concept for EngHack was based on the idea that not everyone needs to be a master programmer in order to take part and benefit from a hackathon. This event will be held in order to offer a venue for people to put their programming skills (or lack thereof) to work, learn from their peers and groupmates, and network with the guests that will be present throughout the event. Providing a low-key starting point for first-time programmers is essential in order to foster an environment where people can try something new without any pressure of failure and to give those involved a taste of what hacking is like, potentially opening the doors for them to take it to the next level.
